Teachers, looking for a way to learn enough dance to cover the required Dance Core Content? Take PHE 805 at EKU this summer and you will do just that. The course is designed for any teacher that wants to learn more about dance. Whether you’re an elementary, middle, or high school teacher or art, music, or physical educator, this course will give you the resources and confidence to include dance in your curriculum. The Dance Core Content is covered for all levels and projects are designed according to the student’s goals. Most teachers create a series of lesson plans that integrate with their main subject area. Arts and Humanities specialists will also find this course a gold mine for resources. No prior dance is necessary!
